Mechatronic has had an extremely busy 2012 with the adoption of new and improved working practices at their new Kings Norton factory linked to an upturn in business, this has been partly fuelled by the success of JLR and winning new business from new customers. Particular features driven by this expansion have led to:-

Mechatronic needs a new Operations Manager to keep ahead
Since moving into their new Kings Norton factory 18 months ago Mechatronic have re organised to take on more and larger contracts. To maintain efficiency they have appointed a new Operations Manager, Chris Gibson. His role includes strategic planning in the mechanical assembly area as well as managing resources amongst the development engineers building Mechatronic machines. This appointment will bring benefits to customers with improved planning.

New Project Leader as Mechatronic Expands
Due to increased complexity and increased workload Mechatronic have employed an additional Project Leader, Stewart Hall comes with years of experience in the design and development of bespoke automation and system integration. Stewarts role includes responsibility for design, purchasing and on time delivery as well as customer liaison in Mechatronics offering of concept to delivery projects.

New customer in partnership with Mechatronic for major High pressure fuel project
One of Mechatronics newest customer specified a press system for the fuel system on their latest family of engines, the choice was made on experience, value, delivery and our location in the heart of the West Midlands.

‘You’ve got to keep the Customer satisfied’
Amongst Mechatronics existing customers in the Business Equipment sector they have supplied another production cell for over £500,000 much to the satisfaction of the purchaser. The equipment was on budget, on time and on specification.
