Birmingham based Mechatronic Solutions has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Chris Gibson as Operations Manager. Chris joined Mechatronic as a Design Support Engineer in June 2006 after graduating from The University of Birmingham and has worked his way to the top through hard work and additional studies through The Open University.
With the expansion of the business into new premises and a larger volume of projects, a new strategy was needed to ensure projects were delivered on time and to the Mechatronic standard. As Operations Manager, Chris liaises with the Project Leaders and Shop Floor personnel to maintain resource for live projects. Chris brings key skills to the business with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management; with these skills he is able to support the build of multiple projects, solving problems to ensure the automated machines Mechatronic design meet the expectations of the customer and most importantly are delivered on time!
