Following the successful re-location to Kings Norton Business Centre, Mechatronic Solutions has stepped up a gear with a new “Twin Line, Powder Filling and Bottling Assembly Machine”. This impressive build was completed in an overall timescale of 28weeks from order, and delivered on time and to full customer specification, exceeding the customers’ expectations due to full after sales technical support and service.
The new contract comes from a world leading office printer manufacturer where quality and accuracy of fill is key. The new machine is fully automated where robotics play a major part in the assembly and transfer of the product. An operator is required to populate child parts onto in-feed conveyors; from here the machine takes over using robotics and its intricate and complex control systems. The bottles are fed into a filling chamber where 3 stages of filling take place for accuracy. A robot then transports the product onto a Weiss indexing table where the product rotates to various stations for final assembly of the filled bottle.
The machine is the 3rd in the series of automated bottle filling due to the quality, success and reliability of the previous two. These machines have expanded the capabilities of the company and also have assisted in its evolution going forward. It is a very exciting time to be involved with Mechatronic solutions at present due to the continuing expansion/growth that is taking place.
