Midland integrator, Mechatronic Production Systems have just celebrated a year at their new site in Kings Norton after moving from the Sheldon factory where the business started 24 years previously. The strategic move came at a good time since an increase in orders has filled the 10,000 square feet facility during the last 12 months.
Mechatronic, who supply integrated machines to all industry sectors, are an important supplier of assembly equipment to 1st tier automotive producers.
Mechatronic have been busy during their first year at the new factory designing, building and commissioning machines to process over 40 different major components for the new Range Rover in programs worth over £1million.
